Classic bent-wood construction with leather straps and a metal buckle to cinch them down over your boots, and the leather is still supple enough to actually do it. Hang them crossed over a doorway or a fireplace in a cabin or a ski lodge and they will do more for the room than anything you could buy new, or take them out in the snow, because they still work.
