Because furniture, large mirrors and artwork, appliances, and mounts are big, heavy, or one-of-a-kind, they ship by freight rather than standard mail — so we quote shipping individually instead of charging it at checkout. Here's how it works:

1. Place your order as usual. You won't be charged shipping on these items at checkout.
2. Within 1–2 business days, we'll email you a delivery quote based on your specific item and address. As a general guide, furniture freight usually runs between $100 and $500 depending on size, weight, and distance.
3. Nothing is charged until you approve the quote — and if it doesn't work for you, we'll gladly cancel and fully refund, no obligation.

You're always welcome to pick up any item free at our Big Bear Lake store instead.

Mountain Living is not responsible for lost or stolen packages marked as delivered by the shipping carrier, but we'll do our best to help you locate your shipment.

That's the shipping choice for our largest pieces (over 50 lb). Selecting it lets you place your order with no shipping charged up front; we'll then email your delivery quote within 1–2 business days for your approval before any charge.

You can order them together. When an order includes an oversized freight item, we handle the whole shipment as one freight quote — we'll email you the delivery cost within 1–2 business days to approve before you're charged. Prefer to keep it simple? Order the smaller items separately to have them ship at the standard weight-based rates right away.

We process orders quickly to ensure prompt delivery. If you need to make a change, please contact us as soon as possible.

While we cannot guarantee modifications once an order is placed, we'll do our best to accommodate your request before shipment.
