1957 Illinois Land of Lincoln License Plate

This vintage 1957 Illinois license plate is a vibrant red color and white lettering. The plate number is 1444 139. It features "19 Illinois 57" at the top and "Land of Lincoln" at the bottom. The 1957 issue was the first Illinois license plate that fully complied with the standard size of 6''x12''. These plates are difficult to find in fair condition due to the aluminum materials and paint the used at the time.
