Vintage Black Bear Skin Rug — Pleated Black Backing

This is a real vintage black bear skin rug, and the fur is darker and softer than you expect when you first put your hand into it. Whoever had it done took the trouble to finish the back with pleated black fabric, which you catch at the edges when it is laid out flat or thrown over the arm of a sofa. Lay it in front of the fireplace or hang it on the wall with a wildlife collection, and either way it is the piece guests walk straight up to and touch. This is genuine bear fur, not faux. This rug measures approximately 63" x 55".
