California Mariposite Chunk with Pyrite - 5 in

A chunk of California mariposite shot through with pyrite, vivid green stone with metallic gold flecks scattered all the way across it. Mariposite is the chromium bearing rock that runs through California gold country, and the pyrite in it is exactly what made the old prospectors stop and take a second look. It is a lucky stone, tied to abundance, and it is a real piece of California geology to have up on your shelf. This specimen measures approximately 5 in wide.
