Fossilized Blue Coral - 6.2 in, Florida

This is a fossilized blue coral from Florida, and what makes it worth having is that the original colony structure is preserved right there in the stone, with the cell pattern still readable across the whole surface. An ancient reef locked in place. Fossil coral is a stone of calm and transformation, and it works as natural history and as decor at the same time, on a bookshelf or a coffee table where you will end up picking it up yourself. Pattern and color are unique to this piece. This coral measures approximately 6.2 in wide.
