Fossilized Peanut Driftwood - 5 in, Western Australia

A fossilized peanut wood specimen from Western Australia, named for the pale oval markings scattered through the darker fossilized wood, and once you spot the peanuts you cannot unsee them. The texture and earthy color make it as much a decor object as a fossil, so it looks right on a shelf and looks just as right dropped into an aquarium. Every piece is unique in its markings. This specimen measures approximately 5 in wide.
