This is a framed photo of one of Bob and Gina Gilligan's first Big Bear log-home estates, a two-story house of roughly 3,500 square feet built in 1990 with five bedrooms, three baths and a two-car garage, sitting on nearly half an acre just above the village looking out over the lake. The frame is the best part of it, made custom and detailed with small tools set right into the wood, a nod to the log-home craft that put the house up in the first place. There is only one of these.
