This is a large Laguna agate out of the mountains of Chihuahua, Mexico, which is the locality that produces some of the most sought-after banded agate in the world, known for saturated color and tight, precise banding, and this one has both. It is big enough to hold down a table on its own and entirely unique in pattern. A centerpiece for a collector, or for you if you appreciate what the earth does with silica and time.
