Sagenitic Agate

This sagenitic agate has the needle-like mineral sprays running right through the body of the stone that give sagenitic agate its name, frozen in place mid growth. Turn it in your hand in the light and the needles catch. Agate is a grounding, steadying stone, and this one is a nice size to hold onto. It is a natural specimen and the pattern and color are unique to this piece. It measures approximately 2.2 in and weighs about 3.5 oz.
