Septarian Nodule Bookends - 6.5 in, Utah

These septarian nodule bookends came out of Utah, cut and polished on the inside faces to show off the cracked golden calcite veining septarian is known for, with the natural rind left rough along the outer edges. They are heavy enough to actually hold up a row of books, which is not true of most decorative bookends. Septarian is a stone of communication and confidence, so they are a good thing to have sitting on the shelf above your desk. This is a natural specimen of calcite, aragonite and limestone, and the veining and color are unique to this pair. They come as a set of 2, each about 6.5 in wide.
