Serenity is a black and white photograph John Charles Hummel took in Running Springs in 2002, a dark line of forest set against a snow covered field, and it manages to be eerie and calming at the same time. Hummel showed with the artist community in the mountain areas from the late 1990s through the late 2000s, and he now lives in the Seattle, Washington area where he is well known on Whidbey Island. It is framed in a custom thick textured espresso real wood frame with a natural stain. Hang it where you want a room to quiet down.
