Vintage Prairie Rattlesnake Taxidermy – Open-Mouth Strike Pose Display

This is authentic vintage taxidermy, a prairie rattlesnake preserved in an elevated strike pose with the mouth open, the fangs out, and the body coiled tight underneath. Whoever mounted it knew exactly what they were doing, the scale patterning is intact and the detailing is startlingly lifelike, which is either the whole appeal or the reason you keep it out of the guest room. It is in good vintage condition. For a curio cabinet or a Western collection there is nothing else like it, and everyone who sees it stops walking.
