A malachite-azurite specimen from the copper deposits of the Democratic Republic of Congo, deep green malachite banding straight into vivid blue azurite, both of them formed out of the same weathering copper ore. That color pairing is what makes these specimens so recognizable, and no two ever run the same way through the stone, so the one you take home is only ever going to be that one. Malachite and azurite together are stones of transformation and intuition. This specimen measures approximately 4 x 2 in.
