Septarian Nodule Sphere - Dragon Stone, 13 in Circumference

This septarian nodule has been polished into a sphere, and the cracked golden veining running all over it is where dragon stone gets its name. Septarian starts out as a mud nodule that dries, splits, and slowly fills in with crystallizing calcite and aragonite, so every one of those veins is a crack that healed itself. It is a grounding stone, good for communication and emotional balance, and it is heavy enough in your hand to feel like something real. It is a natural specimen, so the veining and color belong to this piece alone. This sphere measures 13 inches in circumference.
