Vintage Erb Rodel Davos Wood Sled with Iron Runners - 26.5 in

A vintage Erb Rodel Davos sled, the classic Swiss style sledge built from steam bent hardwood over iron shod runners. Davos sleds have been made the same way for well over a century and the shape gives it away instantly, the open slat deck, the bent side rails, the narrow iron faced runners. At this size it is a compact example, the one you lean against a hearth or hang above a doorway, and it makes the whole room feel like December. It is vintage with wear consistent with age and use. This sled measures 26.5 in long.
